Thank you, Gavin. It’s a piece of sanity to read this, to know that there are others who think there are a lot of questions that haven’t been asked or answered from that day, yet. That the Western world as a whole has failed to understand some of the real causes.
On a personal note, I can’t watch the footage, I haven’t been able to for years, and I think the article told me why – because it’s being used as a spectacle, to induce fear in the viewer, rather than to honour the bravery of those caught up in it, and the sorrow everyone feels knowing it happened.
