WWII Reading Challenge

WWII Reading Challenge

Happy New Year!

A wonderful challenge for the new year hosted by Anna from Diary of an Eccentric and Serena from Savvy Verse and Wit, the War Through the Generations challenge seems appropriate for our times.  Reading can change minds and open hearts.  Reading can lead to understanding and empathy for the “other”.  And then there’s that old saying, “Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.”

I intend to read at least eight books for this challenge, possibly more.  I am now reading  “Resistance” by Owen Sheers, and am completely drawn in, in love with the story and the  characters.

  1. Welcome to the challenge, Gavin! Glad to have you on board. Can’t wait to see what other books you choose. I’ve added you to the participants page on the challenge blog.
