Under the Midnight Sun – Did You Sleep?

If John organizes this read-a-thon for 2012 I promise to be more of a participant.  I did manage to stay up and read three-quarters of the way through Under This Unbroken Sky and had my copy of Galore sitting on the bedside table just in case I managed to stay awake.

Now I need to get ready to head the beach for the low tide.  Thanks and congratulations to all the participants.  I hope you had fun and read wonderful books!

Congratulations! At least you took part! Enjoy the beach!

  2. Congrats on the challenge. Under this unbroken sky was a good read, I haven’t read Galore yet, but I’ve seen it around so much, I may just have to check it out! Hope you enjoy the rest of the book,

  3. Enjoy the beach. I look forward to you reading Galore, it’s a great book. And thanks for taking part!

  4. Glad you were part of it! Some is always better than none ;) And yes, I fell asleep. But I did read great books as well!

  5. Glad you were able to join in. I haven’t read either of those books, but have had my eye on Galore for a while. Will be looking forward to your comments on both.

  6. It was my first time taking part in a read-a-thon and although I did nap for a bit, I thought it was a great way to kick-start the challenge. Glad you were able to participate as well.

OMG Galore! I started this one while at the beach this past weekend and by page 19 I had dropped my jaw, giggled and guffawed so much, that I ended up reading aloud most of what I had just read to other members of my family. I’ve had to put it aside while I help my daughter get ready for her move to Calgary but can’t wait to get back to Galore!
