I’d love to be a reader of nominated prizes, but when I look at any of the lists, I just don’t always understand what they are doing. I don’t seem to do well with the more literary prize-winning books. I hope your illness goes away soon so you can join the chaos of the holiday season!

I’m definitely reading for Orange January…can’t wait to tackle some of these books! I hope to read River of Smoke this month – looking forward to reading your review of it! I also was sick this past week – but I had the flu and it knocked me down for days. Glad you’re starting to feel better, too.

Since this coincides with the TBR Double Dare, I’ll have to check my shelves and see what I can find… I’m sure there must be at least one or two titles!

All you need is one Orange Prize book to join in! I am getting excited about the TBR Double Dare but first have to get through 1Q84. I just picked it up from the library.
